Before the action started last night, I had planned on writing about Brett Oberholtzer‘s start in Fresno and speculating on when he could join the Houston Astros rotation. We’ll get to that in a moment, but first we need to call attention to the game that A.J. Reed had for Lancaster.
Reed, a 21 year old first baseman/designated hitter and 42nd overall pick in last year’s draft, lead the JetHawks to an 18-4 victory over the Ports in Stockton Wednesday night. Well past midnight in Houston, Reed was still driving in runs, finishing with nine on the night.
