The Houston Astros defeated the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday night, 6-2. It’s the Astros’ 31st win of the season and their second victory of the four-game series they have against the Tigers.
Houston currently sits atop the American League west with their 31-15 record, (and the entire MLB for that matter) and they currently lead their division by seven games.
My pick for player of the game was an unlikely one, catcher Juan Centeno.
Centeno’s Incredible Night
Centeno made his Astros debut tonight after the team placed catcher Brian McCann on the seven day disabled list.
