The Houston Astros are going through the nuances of their last series of baseball before the All-Star break and it will give them an opportunity to rest and get ready for a strong showing in the second half to close out the season in a few more months.
They’ve won six games in a row and the skid that they had a couple of weeks ago is pretty much in the rear-view mirror as they regain their tremendous lead in the AL West at the moment, currently at 6.5 games over the Oakland A’s.
It’s possible that the Houston Astros have the ability to close this series out with a sweep but we’ll have to see about that because the Los Angeles Angels are loaded with talent but despite all of what they have on paper, they still haven’t quite been able to put it all together.
