HOUSTON -- Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel's five-game suspension ends following Monday's game against the Orioles, but there remains the chance he could be placed on the disabled list. Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow said that would be determined during Monday's game at Minute Maid Park.
Gurriel, who underwent surgery Feb. 28 to remove the hook of the hamate bone in his left hand, has been working out at the team's Spring Training facility in West Palm Beach, Fla., for the past week. On Monday, he took several at-bats against right-hander James Hoyt in live batting practice.
