Garrett Richards' no-hit bid for Angels broken up in 7th (The Associated Press)

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -- A no-hit bid by Los Angeles Angels pitcher Garrett Richards has been broken up when Jason Castro singled with one out in the seventh inning for the Houston Astros.

Richards and the Angels were leading 3-0 on Sunday when Castro's clean single to left field loaded the bases.

Richards walked his first batter, then retired his next 15 before walking rookie Preston Tucker to open the sixth. But the right-hander struck out Robbie Grossman and Jake Marisnick before retiring Jose Altuve on a check-swing grounder.
