Game Recap: Comeback Mojo Strikes Again. Astros Top Yanks 6-3 on Springer Double for 5th Straight Win

For the third straight night the Astros have come from behind to win, scoring the tying or winning run in the eighth inning. Last night it was Carlos Correa’s swinging bunt single, and tonight it was a two-run George Springer RBI double that broke a 3-3 tie and gave the Astros their fifth straight victory. After Springer’s double Tony Kemp completed the scoring on a Jose Altuve sacrifice fly. Here’s George after getting the big hit.

The Yankees opened the scoring in the first with a Luke Voit home run, the only run starter Gerrit Cole would allow until the sixth inning.
