Game Recap: Air Yordan Goes Yard Again. 4 Astros Homers Enough to Fend Off Brew Crew, 10-8.

A pitcher’s duel this game was not.

There were 18 runs scored tonight, 23 hits, 57 total bases. Astros starter Brad Peacock allowed four runs in 6.1 innings, and was damn lucky to get off that lightly. After allowing a first inning double to Christian Yellich, who scored on a Yasmani Grandal single, Peacock managed to strand three runners to escape the first inning allowing only one run.

In the third Christian Yellich homered, his 25th of the season; in this case Peacock was in good company, joining the every growing pitchers’ self-help group called Yellich Anonymous.
