George Springer is BAAAAACK. But where was everyone else in last night’s 14-2 blow-out loss to the Pirates? George can’t lead a resurgence of the Astros by himself. Springer had three of the Astros’ nine hits, hit the team’s only home run, and accounted for six of the fourteen total bases for the team.
Tonight’s game features two pitchers from the legendary 2017 Astros World Champion roster, Brad Peacock, starting for the Stros, and Joe Musgrove, taking the mound for the Pirates.
Of course, as you all know, Musgrove was the main piece the Astros surrendered to the Pirates in the trade that brought Gerrit Cole to Houston.
