Hunter Brown is the pitching story of all MLB right now. He has 24 straight scoreless innings. Maybe he should have pitched tonight. Another guy on top of the pitching leaderboards, the Blue Jays’ Chris Bassitt, has a 0.77 ERA after 23.1 innings with 31 strikeouts.
At 36, he is starting 2025 having the best season of his career. But hopefully Yordan Alvarez can break out of his own slump and put Bassitt into a deep freeze.
