Former Cardinals scouting director Chris Correa Gets Jail Sentence for Hacking Astros

On Monday, Chris Correa was sentenced to 46 months in jail and ordered to pay $279,038 in restitution for hacking into the Houston Astros database containing personnel information.

Correa, the former scouting director for the St. Louis Cardinals, pleaded guilty in January to 5 felony counts. Correa could have been sentenced to a maximum of 5 years in jail and $250,000 restitution for each of the felony counts.
