Even with Chase Utley in the Dodgers lineup for the first time Friday, Kiké Hernandez was still playing second base for the visitors Friday night. The former Astros utility man is likely to be in center field on Saturday, and as long he keeps hitting, the playing time should keep coming — and he’ll keep having a blast.
“It’s a lot of fun,” Hernandez said. “We’re winning. We’re in LA. It’s a lot of fun.”
Hernandez, 23, was traded along with Jarred Cosart to the Marlins at last year’s trade deadline. In December, he was dealt again, this time to the Dodgers.
