One day after tempers flared between the Astros and Rangers, all the drama at Minute Maid Park remained between the lines Sunday afternoon.
There was no shoving, no grabbing, no angry exchanges between the teams. That’s not to say Dallas Keuchel, Luis Valbuena and Astros cannot be accused of bullying the Rangers.
Keuchel and Valbuena each set personal career highs to lead the Astros to a 10-0 victory to win the three-game series 2-1.
Keuchel struck out a career-high 13 in his first outing since starting for the American League All-Stars Tuesday at Great American Ballpark.
