Other than the little matter of having to rehearse his Hall of Fame induction speech for his wife and family, summertime is progressing routinely for Craig Biggio.
The Biggios are spending time in New Jersey, having recently completed a three-city softball trip with daughter, Quinn, as they prepare for another momentous family outing — the trip north to Cooperstown, N.Y., for Hall of Fame induction weekend.
“We’re doing all the things we normally do as a family, but now things are starting to get pretty exciting,” he said Thursday. “I’m getting a bunch of texts from people who will be coming that I thought would never come.
