Correa exits early with toe discomfort

HOUSTON -- All-Star shortstop Carlos Correa was removed from Monday's game against the Orioles at Minute Maid Park after two innings due to discomfort in his left big toe.

Correa fouled a ball off his foot Sunday against the Rangers in Arlington but stayed in that game.

Correa, who started at shortstop for the American League in the All-Star Game last year, entered the game with seven hits in 16 at-bats this season, including a four-hit game Saturday against Texas. He flied out to right field in his first at-bat Monday against Baltimore's Chris Tillman.
