I’ll fully admit there’s no way for me to go into writing this article without a bias. Charlie Morton was beloved as an Astro. He built a cult level status of love becoming an ace under the guidance of the Astros analytics while maintaining one of the most down to earth personas we have seen. And he has only continued to build on that legacy with other teams and pitching through a broken leg in critical moments.
