It’s not necessarily Astros news, but it’s a great feel-good story for their fans. Hall of Famer Craig Biggio has been a mainstay and the face of the Houston Astros and it’s nice to see his son, Cavan Biggio get the call up to the Major Leagues.
The 24-year-old will be on the 25-man roster for the Toronto Blue Jays tonight as they face the San Diego Padres. He’s not the only son of a famous former Major League player on the team. He’ll be joining Vladimir Guerrero Jr., son of the well-known outfielder Vladimir Guerrero.
