HOUSTON -- While Astros rookie Alex Bregman has looked comfortable on defense since making his Major League debut on July 25, offense has been quite a different story.
That's started to change his last three starts, culminating with an impressive showing in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers. Bregman put together a 3-for-5 night, including an RBI single, a double and a run. It was Bregman's first multihit game and first game with an RBI.
Bregman's RBI single in the ninth inning made him the youngest third baseman in club history to record a three-hit game, breaking Jimmy Paredes' mark set on Aug.
