KANSAS CITY -- Finding a way to keep the Astros in the ballpark is pretty challenging. Just ask Royals starter Jakob Junis, who gave up solo homers Alex Bregman and Carlos Correa in the fourth inning of Friday night's series opener at Kauffman Stadium.
After Mike Moustakas put the Royals ahead with a two-run double in the third, Bregman and Correa tied the game with homers. Bregman's jack traveled a projected 368 down the left-field line, and Correa hit a mammoth 455-foot blast to left that was 112.8-mph off the bat, according to Statcast™.
