After much back-and-forth between the two teams and Pressly, who at first wouldn’t waive his no-trade clause, a deal has been made to send reliver Ryan Pressly to the Chicago Cubs for, at the time of writing this, an unknown amount. Pressly, a Dallas native, came to Houston in 2018 as part of a mid-season deal with the Minnesota Twins and has been with the organization ever since. This is now the second deal the Astros have made with Chicago this offseason, dealing outfielder Kyle Tucker to them just over a month ago.
