Brad Peacock’s recovery from back surgery has left him “feeling great,” the righty said Tuesday in San Antonio, where he and Colby Rasmus met with Wounded Warriors at Brooke Army Medical Center as part of the Astros’ winter caravan.
“I’m finally feeling good,” said Peacock, who made just one big league start least season because of his health. “I believe I’m 100 percent now. I finally found the problem and got it fixed. I’m feeling good.”
Peacock, who will be 28 this season, had bone spurs removed to alleviate pressure on a pinched nerve in August.
“My hips always hurt, I thought, so that’s why I had the surgery.
