CLEVELAND — Outfielder Preston Tucker’s 25th birthday Monday came with a career-high four hits, including one of two Astros home runs as they returned to the formula that’s been their most effective all season in a 9-4 win over the Indians.
Go deep, and go deep a lot.
Tucker’s fourth inning shot and Marwin Gonzalez’s in the seventh gave the Astros’ their 32nd win in 36 games where they’ve hit more than one homer.
Ace Dallas Keuchel took his 11th win as the club’s losing skid ended at two in the opener of their penultimate series before the All-Star break, a four-game set at Progressive Field.
