NEW YORK -- A tandem of standout switch-hitters from Puerto Rico are set to be honored at the 38th annual Thurman Munson Awards dinner, where Carlos Beltran and Jorge Posada will be presented with the prestigious 'Thurman Legend' award.
Also in line to receive Munson Awards, presented for success on the field of play and philanthropic works off the field, are Mets infielder T.J. Rivera, Yankees reliever David Robertson and two-time New York Giants Super Bowl champion Justin Tuck.
The dinner is scheduled for Feb. 6 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York, and Yankees broadcaster Michael Kay is set to serve as the master of ceremonies.
