Bandits notes: team splits a double header with Bees, Murphy tosses a gem

The Quad Cities River Bandits (14-18) split a double-header with the Burlington Bees (13-19) split a double header with the Quad Cities River Bandits (14-18) on Wednesday night, at Modern Woodman Park, in Davenport.

GAME ONE

Quad Cities opened up the bottom of the first with a leadoff single from Johnny Sewald. After a walk to Antonio Nunez, Kyle Tucker flew out to center, advancing both runners. With the bases loaded and two outs, Rodriguez would issue a walk to Dexture McCall, scoring Sewald, giving the River Bandits a 1-0 lead.
