Lance McCullers’ career is just starting but Batman may never return after a 2-1 Astros loss to the A’s on Monday night at Minute Maid Park.
The buzz-maker of the day for his choice of footwear as well as his arm, McCullers didn’t factor into the decision in his major league debut, which lasted 42⁄3 innings on 93 pitches, 54 strikes.
