KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Hall of Famer Craig Biggio has reminisced while watching the 2015 team celebrate a playoff berth Sunday and then a wild-card game victory Tuesday night against the Yankees.
“They got some nice goggles now, so they don’t have to deal with all the burning in your eyes and stuff,” Biggio said at Kauffman Stadium before Game 2 of the AL Division Series against the Royals. “We didn’t have the goggles back then.
“They ain’t cheap goggles; I know that. To watch the boys having some fun, watch the clubhouse guys in there having fun, that brings back memories.
