Astros’ Class AAA team falls behind in PCL championship series

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Grizzlies, the Houston Astros’ Class AAA affiliate, got a rough outing from starting pitcher Brett Oberholtzer and fell to the Round Rock Express 6-2 Friday in Game 3 of the Pacific Coast League Championship Series. Round Rock, a Texas Rangers affiliate, leads the best-of-five series 2-1.

Oberholtzer gave up six runs and 10 hits in 4.2 innings of work as Round Rock jumped out to a 6-0 lead. Fresno didn’t score until catcher Tyler Heineman delivered a two-run single in the eighth inning.

Fresno got two hits apiece from Tyler White and Robbie Grossman.
