The Astros are not ready to bring back Josh Fields from the disabled list just yet.
There’s no obvious player to send down out of their seven-man bullpen. Righty Will Harris is the only reasonable choice, and he’s been excellent. Plus, the Astros seem to feel it could only help if Fields gets a little more time.
“Little bit of both,” manager A.J. Hinch said. “You want to make sure he’s fully comfortable and his pitches both have quality and comfort for him. I think it could happen quickly. It also could be a couple more outings.
