The Super 2 deadline has come and gone (what is that anyway?) and Alex Bregman has spent most of his nights at Whataburger Field with the Corpus Christi Hooks. The 22-year-old is the #18 ranked prospect in the MLB top 100, but he has remained in AA so far – despite the Astros’ revolving door at third base this season. That begs the question; if not now, then when? Perhaps the Astros are stashing the young talent in the minors to build interest in the trade market. Could Bregman make his first big league start outside of Astros organization?
