HOUSTON -- The Astros finally got a hit with a runner in scoring position against the Padres. It turned out to be the game-winner.
For the second time in less than a week, Alex Bregman singled in pinch-runner Derek Fisher from second base with the winning run, sending the Astros to a thrilling 1-0 win over the Padres in 10 innings Saturday night at Minute Maid Park.
This Bregman hit had a twist. Padres reliever Phil Maton got Bregman to pop up on the infield with two outs in the 10th, but San Diego's infielders were unable to catch it.
