Astros trade update: Adding another starter still a priority

Drafted by Mets Kazmir's pro career started when he was drafted by the Mets with the 15th overall pick in 2002 after being Baseball America's High School Player of the Year at Cy Falls. He threw six no-hitters in high school, including in four consecutive starts as a junior. He was with New York until being traded to Tampa Bay in 2004 for Victor Zambrano. That deal remains a sore subject for Mets fans.
