Astros' Stassi expected back in lineup soon

ARLINGTON -- Astros catcher Max Stassi, who exited in the first inning of Tuesday's win over the Rangers when he was hit on the right wrist by a pitch and suffered a contusion, could return to the starting lineup in the next day or two, manager AJ Hinch said Wednesday.

Stassi had some swelling and an indention of baseball stitch marks on his wrist postgame Tuesday and had some limited mobility but was feeling better Wednesday, Hinch said. Tim Federowicz was called up from Triple-A Fresno on Tuesday and played the final eight innings behind the plate in place of Stassi.
