The Astros signed five more players from their 2015 draft class Friday.
The signees are center fielder Myles Straw (12th round. St. John’s River State College), left fielder Justin Garcia (17th, Nova Southeastern), catcher Kevin Martir (18th, Maryland), outfielder Aaron Mizell (32nd, Georgia Southern) and left-handed pitcher Steve Naemark (40th, Angelo State). Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
The Astros also signed a non-drafted free agent, Nicholls State University catcher Christian Correa. He is no relation to Astros shortstop Carlos Correa.
Naemark, 25, entered the workforce following high school and was out of baseball for four years.
