Houston finally solved its bullpen DL problem, by sending down a position player
Nothing has gone according to plan with this Astros roster. Maybe that's a good thing. The latest unorthodox decision came late Wednesday evening, when the Astros recalled Josh Fields from the 15-day disabled list and optioned backup infielder Jonathan Villar to Triple-A.
The Astros activated RHP Josh Fields from DL last night and optioned IF Jonathan Villar to Triple-A Fresno.

With the move, Houston will have 13 pitchers on the roster and just 12 position players.
