The Astros offense remains stuck in first gear, managing only one run against the Cardinals on a Yordan Alvarez RBI, whilst the Astros B-Team beat up on the Marlins 10-5.
Spencer Arrighetti looked decent today against the Cardinals. He allowed one run in three innings with two hits, both triples, a walk, and four strikeouts.
One of the triples was a wind-blown fly ball to the left field wall that an experienced left fielder would have caught. But alas, it was converted second baseman Jose Altuve who mistimed the jump and even failed to chase the ball as it bounced off the wall, thinking the ball cleared the fence.
