ANAHEIM — The Astros said Wednesday they did not receive a subpoena as part of the government’s investigation into the hacking of their private database and computer systems.
The New York Times reported Monday that the Astros had been subpoenaed in recent months “for more information from their network.”
“The Astros have not been subpoenaed in any matter,” Astros general counsel Giles Kibbe said. “We’ve cooperated fully with the federal investigation and not through subpoena, but through both working together and the Astros providing as much information as they want whenever they want it.”
It’s unclear how fast the U.
