Astros minor league pitcher Makay Nelson suspended 50 games

The Houston Astros haven’t had too many suspension since general manager Jeff Luhnow took over the system in 2011. But the Astros have quickly added up two over the past 30 days.

Minor league RHP MaKay Nelson tested positive for amphetamine and has been suspended 50 games — reports the Houston Chronicle's Jake Kaplan.

Makay Nelson, an RHP in the Astros’ system who finished ‘16 in Tri-City, was suspended 50 games after testing positive for Amphetamine.
