Astros Drop Another in Spring Training, 4-2 to Marlins

Now’s the time to have a slump. When the games don’t count.

The Astros dropped to 3 and 12 today against the Marlins. Zack Greinke surrendered two runs in 4.1 innings, allowing five hits, one walk, with only one strikeout. One of the runs was unearned, caused in part by an errant pickoff throw by Greinke himself.

Greinke was followed by Enoli Paredes, who allowed a two run homer to Jazz Chisholm in sixth.

Steve Cishek is looking harder and harder to cut, throwing a scoreless seventh, allowing one hit while recording two Ks.

Young prospect Jairo Solis was shaky but managed a scoreless eighth, allowing a hit and a walk, but also recording a strikeout.
