One day after it was released that Houston Astros outfield prospect Danry Vasquez was caught on camera assaulting his girlfriend outside of Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi, the organization decided to take a stand following Major League Baseball’s own ruling on the matter.

Vasquez was arrested on August 4th and later put on administrative leave from Major League Baseball the same day. He has not appeared in a game since July 31st. And it is remains to be seen if he will ever appear in a professional baseball game again.
