The worm turned rather violently as the A’s punched the Astros right in the gut with a 21-7 loss (Houston Chronicle)
A big part of that was Wade Miley’s latest craptastic start, which holds ramifications for October if he can’t get it together (The Athletic, $$$)
And those games have Miley searching for solutions (Texas Sports Nation, $$$)
But all that aside, the Astros have easily been one of the best teams in baseball thanks to stellar pitching and an explosive offense (USA Today)
And just to put a little emphasis on that, the Astros offense set a new club record for homers in a season last night (Sports Radio 610)
