PHOENIX -- After defeating the D-backs, 21-5, on Friday night, the Astros lead for the final Wild Card spot in the American League and can still tie the Rangers in the AL West.
They lead the Angels by one game and the Twins by two games, and trail the Rangers by two games with two remaining.
Houston would clinch a postseason berth with a win and an Angels loss on Saturday. If the Astros finish the season tied with the Rangers, the clubs will play a tiebreaker game to decide which is the division champ and which heads to the Wild Card Game presented by Budweiser.
