Yuli Gurried opened with a single and went to third on a single by fellow Cuban Aledmys Diaz. With two outs Alex DeGoti doubled home Gurriel, and Carlos Correa singled home Diaz and De Goti. At that point, the Marlins invoked the pitch rule and pulled the plug on the inning.
