Outfielder George Springer will be back with the Astros on Friday, the team announced.
Springer has been out with a right wrist fracture since July 2. He played five games on a rehab assignment at Class AA Corpus Christi, hitting .278.
The Astros went 26-27 since Springer’s injury.
The team also called up RHP Michael Feliz from Corpus.
Before going on the DL, Springer was hitting .264 with 14 doubles, 13 home runs, 29 RBI and 14 stolen bases in 75 games this season. At the time of his injury, he ranked fifth among all American League outfielders in OPS (.
