The Houston Astros continued to make headway in the American League West after collecting their eighth win in a row against division opponents. The Astros used six solid innings from Dallas Keuchel and three home runs to bring home the 5-2 victory.
Each team scored a run in the second inning. The Mariners used a single from Dae-Ho Lee and a Kyle Seager double to put two runners in scoring position. The astros conceded a run on a Chris Iannetta for the second out. Keuchel would get a groundout from Daniel Robertson to end the inning.
