Fiers again solid for the Astros. He didn't pitch a no hitter but he was solid.
There has only been one time in baseball history that a pitcher has thrown a no-hitter in back-to-back starts. The Reds' Johnny Vander Meer threw one on June 11 and 15, 1938. So it's safe to say that Mike Fiers wasn't come to match that feet in his first start since his no hitter against the Dodgers.
That said he was once again solid for the Astros, FIers allowed one run over six innings on three hits, three walks, and five strikeouts.
