It hasn't been fun to watch the Astros offense the past few weeks. Yes, walkoffs are great but this team reminded me of the worst part of the 2004 and 2005 teams -- they never seem to get the offense rolling down the stretch.
That said, offense wasn't a problem on Tuesday. The Astros scored runs in bunches. Five runs in the first inning, Four runs in the fifth, and six runs in the seventh. The Astros decimated the Yankees pitching.
The party started and finished with the batters in the lineup, Colby Rasmus, Evan Gattis, and Carlos Gomez.
