The Astros offense is in a slump. We have seen it. We know it from watching the games. Was the loss of Kyle Tucker just enough to remove the critical mass for the offense? We don’t know, but nothing can be done about it until next month when Tucker hopefully returns from injury. At this point, the Astros’ hitting roster is what it is, and the coaches and players have to figure out how to get past the slump. And hope that the team doesn’t fall too far behind the AL West race while they’re at it.
In previous articles, I have noted the approaching signs of the current slump.
