Altuve exits with discomfort in right hamstring

HOUSTON -- In the midst of an explosive eight-run first inning that gave Felix Hernandez one of the worst starts of his career, the Astros were dealt a big blow.

In his second at-bat of the first inning, Jose Altuve came up limping after running out a ground ball to shortstop and exited the game with discomfort in his right hamstring. Head trainer Nate Lucero and manager A.J. Hinch went out to help and the television broadcast showed Altuve untucking his shirt and heading into the clubhouse once he made it back to the dugout.
