Altuve exits after collision with Correa

HOUSTON -- A disappointing night for the Astros turned downright dreadful in the seventh, when All-Star second baseman Jose Altuve left the game after a collision with shortstop Carlos Correa in shallow center field.

Both Altuve and Correa converged on Elvis Andrus' pop fly. Altuve actually made the catch, but Correa inadvertently knocked Altuve across the face and on the bridge of the nose, leaving him writhing in pain in the ground and causing him to drop the ball.

Altuve was tended to by assistant athletic trainer Rex Jones and manager A.
