October baseball. Nothing more exciting. And sometimes, like last night, nothing more frustrating.
It was the first playoff game ever in which both teams scored all their runs in the first inning. Unfortunately, the Yankees scored four. The good guys only scored one. So now it’s game 6, but the Astros have two chances to close out the Yankees on their home field, whereas the Yanks have to win both games to advance to the World Series.
It’s a bullpen game for both teams, and conventional wisdom says this favors the Yankees. But on the Astros’ side, their pen has not been used as much this series, has looked good when it has been used, and the opener is Brad Peacock.
