AL Wild Card position-by-position: Astros-Yanks

Here's a position-by-position breakdown of the two clubs:

Catcher: Brian McCann's most recent postseason appearance came in 2013, and it was by no means pretty. He went 0-for-13 with six strikeouts in what turned out to be his final series with Atlanta. Still, McCann proved himself more than capable of handling the October pressure, hitting .429 with a 1.152 OPS in the 2010 playoffs. Jason Castro, on the other hand, has never been to a postseason, and sports an OPS 108 points lower than McCann's .756 mark this season. Castro has been serviceable for the Astros and probably gets the defensive edge over McCann.
